I had a nice salad similar to this at Bar Masa in New York City. It was a very simple salad, but I really enjoyed the wasabi dressing that they used. Of course I don’t remember exactly how the taste was, but I am happy with this version that I created. Besides the dressing, the key is to use crunchy greens like watercress and to add a meaty flavor like that of the imitation crab sticks. Probably Tuscan kale would work well also.
